WHAT:    Thirty trainees will participate in a special "Hard Hats and
         Boots" ceremony to celebrate their successful completion of
         an eight-week, pre-apprenticeship construction training
         program.

         The LAX Century Community Training Program is a partnership
         between Los Angeles World Airports and Century Housing that
         provides education in skilled construction trades and job
         placement assistance. The State-certified program includes
         classroom instruction, specialty workshops, trade
         instruction, construction conditioning and hands-on training.

WHEN:    Friday, June 28, 2002
         11:30 a.m.

WHERE:   LAX Century Community Training Program Facility
         5021 Lennox Blvd.
         Lennox, CA 90304
         (East of La Cienega Boulevard and north of Century Boulevard)

WHO:     Graduates include employees of Los Angeles International
         Airport (LAX) companies displaced by the economic impacts of
         September 11.

         Program participants include:
         Janice Wood, Commissioner, Public Works Department, City of
          Los Angeles
         Robert Norris, Executive Vice President, Century Housing
          Corp.
         Barbara Johnson, Chair, Partners Committee, LAX Century
          Community Training Program
