WHAT:        The Alzheimer's Association of Los Angeles launches
             Alzheimer's Week, a series of special community events
             bringing awareness, art and education to the public
             beginning Monday, Oct. 2 through Saturday, Oct. 7.

HIGHLIGHTS:  Alzheimer's Week begins with "Music of the Heart," a
             celebration of spiritual music featuring:

             --   The Agape International Choir
             --   The International Peace Choir
             --   The Echoes of Faith Youth Choir from Inglewood's
                  Faithful Central Bible Church

             The choirs will present songs that blend the flavor of
             spiritually based gospel, symphonic and popular music
             into a universally engaging performance.

ADMISSION:   "Music of the Heart" is free to the public.

WHERE:       The Agape International Center of Truth
             5700 Buckingham Parkway
             Culver City

WHEN:        Monday, Oct. 2
             8:00 p.m.

WHY:         To heighten awareness of Alzheimer's disease. The
             Alzheimer's Association of Los Angeles serves more than
             150,000 people with Alzheimer's disease and their
             families by providing a variety of programs and services.
