Ovations recognize excellence in 29 categories of theatre and are
the only peer-judged, competitive theatre awards in Los Angeles. This
year, nearly 350 productions were eligible for nominations.

HOST:           Alfred Molina ("Frida," "Bram and Alice," "Art,"
                "The Cherry Orchard")

PRESENTERS:     John Rubinstein, Rosie Taravella, Lea Thompson, Suzi
                Dietz, Arye Gross, Gil Cates, Gordon Davidson and
                others.

SPECIAL AWARDS: James A. Doolittle Award for Outstanding Leadership
                in the Theatre to the Los Angeles County Board of
                Supervisors, Career Achievement Award to Carole Cook
                and Tom Troupe, and Community Outreach Award to Joan
                Boyett.

PRODUCTION:     Lee Wochner, executive producer; Don Hill, director;
                Nancy Ann Adler, producer; Steven Applegate, musical
                director; Tom Ruzika, lighting designer; Julie Ferrin,
                sound designer; Richard Moore, technical director.
