       Herbalife Attempts to Ring in a New Guinness World Record
                    for Largest Conference Call(a)


WHO:      Herbalife distributors and customers from around the world.
          Michael O. Johnson, CEO of Herbalife, led the call.

WHAT:     The conference call brought more than 10,000 Herbalife
          distributors and customers on a conference call to learn
          more about the company's newest program for weight loss and
          management, ShapeWorks(TM). The call lasted approximately
          20 minutes.

          Denver-based ACT Teleconferencing (Nasdaq:ACTT) provided
          the teleconferencing services.

WHEN:     Thursday, March 25, 2004, at 9:30 p.m. EST.

WHY:      ShapeWorks(TM) is a new personalized and comprehensive
          approach to weight loss. The program is the first to offer
          consumers a free ShapeScan(TM), which shows their lean body
          mass, how many calories they burn at rest, target weight and
          recommends their personalized protein needs for building and
          maintaining lean muscle mass, enabling them to personalize
          their protein consumption based on individual needs.
