WHAT:   Avid football fan and "Ally McBeal" star Gil Bellows, and
        four-time Super Bowl Champ and 2000 Hall of Fame inductee
        Ronnie Lott will be on hand to cover the excitement of the
        2000 NFL Draft, pick by pick, for the exclusive DIRECTV sports
        show THIS WEEK ON SPORTS. Gil, who charmed audiences as "Billy
        Thomas," Ally's life-long lost love on "Ally McBeal," is
        DIRECTV's designated Celebrity Superfan who will correspond
        on-camera with DIRECTV sports personality, Jim Laslovic, and
        interact with draftees and fans as they root for their
        favorite players and teams.

        Representing DIRECTV, Bellows and Lott will also present
        DIRECTV Systems to the first round selections and their
        families in attendance.

        DIRECTV Inc., will present a DIRECTV System, installation,
        one-year of programming and the 2000 NFL SUNDAY TICKET
        subscription package to the parents of the NFL Draft first
        round selections, enabling their parents to catch virtually
        every down played by their sons during their NFL rookie
