       Casts of NBC's "Frasier" and "Will & Grace" to Perform at
    Annual Gala Fundraiser and Awards Dinner to Benefit Alzheimer's
                      Association of Los Angeles

    WHAT:  "A Night at Sardi's," an annual fundraiser and awards
           ceremony which benefits the Alzheimer's Association of
           Los Angeles, will feature celebrity performances of musical
           selections from "Oklahoma!"

    WHO:   The Emmy award-winning casts of NBC's "Frasier" and "Will
           & Grace," including Kelsey Grammer, David Hyde Pierce,
           Jane Leeves, Peri Gilpin, Eric McCormack, Sean Hayes and
           Megan Mullally will perform a mini version of "Oklahoma!"
           directed by Peter Matz and produced by Susan Dietz. Other
           celebrity performers will include Sharon Lawrence,
           John O'Hurley, Mimi Kennedy, Alan Rachins, Amy Pietz and
           Bryan Cranston. The event has been chaired by Laurie
           Burrows Grad since 1993.

    AWARD
RECIPIENTS: Elsa Rose Fabares Award -- George Vradenberg III,
            America Online Inc.'s Senior Vice President for Global and
            Strategic Policy, and his wife, Trish Vradenburg.
            (Previous recipients of this award include Mike Myers and
            David Hyde Pierce.)

            Entertainment Award -- Cable TV series "Arli$$" for its
            sensitive portrayal of a sports caster affected with
            Alzheimer's, played by Ed Asner.

            Corporate Award -- Novartis Pharmaceuticals.

            Caregiver Award (presented by Hector Elizondo) --
            Euli Watkins.

    WHY:    The Alzheimer's Association of Los Angeles provides
            support and assistance to people with Alzheimer's disease
            and their families. The Association is dedicated to
            researching the prevention, cure and treatment of
            Alzheimer's disease.  Funds raised will go toward programs
            and services in L.A. County that benefit the individuals,
            families and caregivers that are affected by Alzheimer's

            Working media are invited to cover the event but must
            register in advance with contacts above for media passes.
            Celebrity interview and photo opportunities are available
            in the Empire Room from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
