ADVISORY/$41 Million Settlement to Homeowners for Defective Pipes.

Metro/Assignment Editors

ADVISORY...for Friday (June 29)

--(BUSINESS WIRE)

WHAT: Nearly 5,000 Santa Clarita Valley homeowners will benefit
from a $41 million settlement that a state court approved
today. Their homes were built with defective foreign-made
galvanized steel pipes. After only a short time in their
newly built homes, owners began detecting problems such as
pin hole leaks, brown rusty water, premature pipe corrosion
and deterioration, stains to plumbing fixtures, restricted
water flow, and loss of use.

Quisenberry & Kabateck attorneys brought this case to a
         successful resolution.
