ADVISORY/S. Keshav, Ensim Co-Founder and Chief Technical Officer, to Present at New World Service Provider Summit 2000.
ADVISORY ... for Wednesday (March 15)
S. Keshav, co-founder and chief technical officer at Ensim(TM) Corporation, has been selected to speak Wed., March 15, 2000 at the New World Service Provider Summit 2000 in Denver, Colo. Ensim is a leading provider of infrastructure products and services for the application-hosting market. The New World Service Provider Summit 2000 will provide service providers with the tools they need to compete and win in a service- and solutions-driven market.
S. Keshav will speak as part of a panel discussion titled "New World Data Center Design." This panel discussion is scheduled for Wed., March 15, 2000 from 2:45 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Omni Interlocken Resort, Denver, Colo. The panel discussion will explore the rapid emergence of world-class data center facilities and discuss design strategies that support the ever-increasing demands of high-end Web and application hosting. S. Keshav will highlight and explain how service providers can build scalable and high-margin application-hosting businesses, finding ways to simplify every step of the application-hosting lifecycle - including setup, operations, management, and expansion.
Ensim's ServerXchange(TM) is the industry's first and most-comprehensive offering of application-hosting infrastructure products available to service providers. ServerXchange is built on a patent rich core, developed by Ensim. ServerXchange instantly turns any server running Linux, Solaris, or NT into multiple private servers. Service providers can then drag-and-drop applications to the private server, thereby creating an "application appliance" optimized for delivering high-quality, and easily managed, application services. From a single console, service providers can instantly provision and manage thousands of private servers. And unique to ServerXchange, service providers can guarantee application quality-of-service to their customers without dedicating an entire physical server. ServerXchange, launched in October 1999, has been well received by 15 of the world's-leading service providers such as Adero, Superb Internet, Digital Island, e.spire Communications, Qwest, Virtualscape, and PSINet.
