Assignment Desks

ADVISORY...for Thursday Thursday: see week.  (May 22)

--(BUSINESS WIRE)

LACCD LACCD Los Angeles Community College District   -0-

What: LACCD officials will be available to brief the media on the
successful passage of Proposition AA, a facilities bond
measure that ensures completion of all projects outlined in
each college's master plan. District officials will outline
plans for creating a 21st century "Gateway to Opportunity" at
each of the nine community college campuses. As space for
students in California's state universities and the UC system
becomes scarcer, community colleges will be expected to pick
up the slack. Passage of Proposition AA will allow the nine
colleges of the Los Angeles community college district to
         meet their imminent enrollment needs.
