Adding Up

The tabernacle in Temple Square has one of the world's largest pipe organs. How many pipes does the organ have? Count up the numbers on the roof of the tabernacle.

Beehive Mystery

"That's funny," said Rick. "This Beehive House has no bees!" The man who founded Salt Lake City lived here. You can find out his name by doing this. Spell out the name of objects on the sidewalk. Then match the letters and numbers with the numbers in Rick's notebook.

Great Salt Lake is as salty as the ocean. Salt helps swimmers float. Look at Rick! He's bobbing up and down in the water like a cork. Too bad his beach bail floated away. Can you help him find the one with an E on it? Just trace the right path. Excellent!

About the Lake

The Great Salt Lake is bigger than the state of Delaware. But the water is shallow. It's not much deeper than 15 feet (4.5 meters). Thousands of years ago, the lake was even larger. What is it called? Start with the letter B on Annie's bike wheel. Reading clockwise, write every other letter in order in the spaces below.

ANSWER

The ancient lake is called BONNEVILLE.
