More than 200 teams of three are scheduled to compete in a program that combines components and disciplines used for survival in the outdoors. Endurance is the key in adventure racing as each team works with a constantly changing terrain in the wilderness. The series began in July in Hartford, Conn., and continued to Miami and then Pittsburgh. The championship series will be taped for an ESPN ESPN Entertainment and Sports Programming Network 2 special that will air at 1 p.m. Nov. 26 and 7:30 a.m. Dec. 6. |
