ADVENTIS Announces Additions to Board of Directors.

ADVENTIS, a leading management and strategy consultancy to the converging global information industries, announced the following two appointments to its board of directors.

Kenneth Roman is the former chairman and chief executive officer of Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide, one of the top international advertising and communications groups. Mr. Roman serves on the corporate boards of Brunswick Corp., Compaq Computer and Gartner Inc. He also serves on the boards of The National Organization on Disability, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, and is a vice chairman of The New York Botanical Garden. Mr. Roman is the co-author of two books -- How To Advertise (St. Martin's Press) and Writing That Works (Harper/Collins), both still in print.

Wes Scott joins the ADVENTIS board from BCE Inc., Canada's largest communications company. He brings to the Company's Board his experiences stemming from a career spanning thirty years with the BCE family. Mr. Scott has held positions as vice chairman of Bell Canada, chief financial officer of Nortel Networks, chief executive officer of the Stentor Resource Center and president of Bell Ontario. He will retire as chief corporate officer of BCE in March, 2001. Mr. Scott serves on the boards of Bell Canada, BCE Emergis (which he chairs), Bell Canada International, and Book4Golf.com. In the not-for-profit sector he serves on the boards of the Hospital for Sick Children Foundation and Trinity College.
