ADVANTIX Acquires PROTIX; Expands Entertainment-Commerce Service and Technology.

This transaction represents ADVANTIX's fourth major acquisition since its change in ownership and management in late 1996, led by W. Thomas Gimple, president and chief executive officer. This move furthers ADVANTIX's position as the industry's consolidator and technology leader.

On a combined basis, ADVANTIX and PROTIX ticketing solutions serve over 1,400 venues worldwide and process in excess of 100 million tickets annually, representing an estimated $2 billion in gross ticket sales.
