ADVANCED GRAVIS BOARD AND MANAGEMENT RESTRUCTURING

VANCOUVER, Britisl?umbia, Jan. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Advanced Gravis Computer Technology (OTC Bulletin Board: GRVSF; Vancouver, Toronto: AED) announces the reconstitution of the board of directors of Advanced Gravis Computer Tech. (the "company"). The change is being made to increase the representation of outside board members vs. inside management personnel on the board. The company is also announcing management changes designed to accomodate its anticipated growth.
The following current board members are resigning their positions effective immediately: David Reid, Dennis Scott-Jackson, and Michael Fry. In their place, Michael Korenberg and Larry Miller have been added to the board. Korenberg is a partner with the law firm of Blake Cassels & Graydon, in Vancouver, specializing in securities law. Miller is the vice president of Marketing for Macromedia, a leading U.S.-based developer of multimedia authoring tools and software. With these changes the current board will consist of John Campbell, Grant Russell, Miller, Carlton Baab, Korenberg and Tim Zier.
Zier, chief financial officer and general manager, will be leaving the firm for personal reasons to return to the United States, effective Feb. 28, 1994. His duties will be split into two new positions, vice president Finance and vice president Operations. A smooth transition is anticipated.
The company has also commenced an industry search for the new position of vice president of Marketing. This position was previously held by Reid in the role of vice president Sales & Marketing, who will now become vice president of Sales. This will allow Reid to focus his efforts on increasing sales, particularly in the international markets.
The reconstitution of the board and the new management positions created will position Gravis to realize the significant growth opportunities it faces over the coming years.
