Valdes is screaming, and not because it's in the script.

The 29-year-old star of ``Reverse Gang Bang'' and ``Oh Those Lovin' Spoonfuls 8'' has filed a federal discrimination complaint alleging the Screen Actors Guild won't let her join.

``They're denying any X-rated actor or producer into their union,'' Valdes said Thursday in a telephone interview. ``I say we're just like any other actor.''

But adult entertainment industry members, including her own agent, say Valdes just doesn't get it. And that the wanna-be Hollywood actress - whose credits so far include some 70 porn films with titles such as ``Spazm'' - may be suffering from delusions of grandeur Noun 1. delusions of grandeur - a delusion (common in paranoia) that you are much greater and more powerful and influential than you really are

.

``She wants $10,000 a movie,'' said her agent, Jim South Jim South (born James Marvin. Souter, Jr. in Dallas, Texas) was a recruiter and agent in America’s pornography industry.

South sold insurance in Dallas for a few years and moved to Los Angeles in 1968.
. ``She keeps telling me she's a superstar. She wants a limo to pick her up for work and take her home.

``I never made a pass at her. I tried to talk to her like a father. I just kept telling her, `Honey, it doesn't work this way.' But she won't listen to me.

``This is asinine. If she had been ripped off, I would be the one calling you. She has not been ripped off.''

Adult Video News Managing Editor Mark Kulkis, whose publication is known as ``the Variety of porn,'' said Valdes is far from being a star.

``She's kind of a B-list girl,'' Kulkis said.

SAG spokeswoman Katherine Moore declined comment, citing the open investigation of Valdes' complaint.

Last month, Valdes filed a complaint with the National Labor Relations Board National Labor Relations Board (NLRB), independent agency of the U.S. government created under the National Labor Relations Act of 1935 (Wagner Act), and amended by the acts of 1947 (Taft-Hartley Labor Act) and 1959 (Landrum-Griffin Act), which affirmed labor's right . She contends that SAG, which represents more than 90,000 Hollywood performers, refused her membership because of ``arbitrary, unfair, capricious, invidious in·vid·i·ous

 and discriminatory reasons.''

Valdes admits the complaint was filed over money. She wants royalties, known as residuals, from cable showings of her movies, and higher pay.

``I have done such hard work,'' Valdes said. ``Then I realized that I had no money.''

Standardized pay and residuals guarantees are part of SAG's collective bargaining agreements The contractual agreement between an employer and a Labor Union that governs wages, hours, and working conditions for employees and which can be enforced against both the employer and the union for failure to comply with its terms. .

But the porn industry is fed by independent producers who aren't signatories of the Screen Actors Guild. They often pay in cash - from a few hundred dollars to thousands - film in people's homes and offer no employment benefits. Many actors sign releases after they're paid, relinquishing all rights to their on-screen on·screen or on-screen

An NLRB lawyer interviewed Valdes by phone Thursday at the Saugus home she shares with her mother. Agency spokesman Sidney Rosen said her allegations will be investigated within 30 to 45 days.
