ADTRAN's NetVanta routers, Ethernet switches, and switch/router products were used to provide Internet connectivity to press representatives and team members at Beijing's Workers' Stadium, one of the main venues for the event, in addition to the event news center and additional locations at host hotels, all with exceptional throughput and flawless performance.

The Asian Cup 2004 final between China and Japan that was held at Workers' Stadium captured audiences from throughout Asia to become the most watched single sports event in the history of Chinese television.
