ADTRAN Names Senior Vice President; Voetsch to Head Operations Group.

), today announced that Peter Voetsch has been named Senior Vice President of Operations. In this position, Voetsch will be responsible for all of ADTRAN's supply chain, manufacturing, and out-sourced manufacturing activities. He will also join the company's senior management team that guides business strategy and establishes policy.

"As we continue to grow our business, we expect to call upon his extensive background in large-scale electronics production operations."

Prior to joining ADTRAN, Voetsch had almost 20 years of service with DaimlerChrysler. During that time he was plant manager of its Huntsville Electronics Plant in Huntsville, Alabama, where he was responsible for all product engineering, manufacturing, and business activities of the division. He has also served as plant manager of the DaimlerChrysler Dayton Thermal Products plant and the Etobicoke Casting Plant, a large aluminum casting facility.
