The ADTRAN LR 56/72 III SL is now available in a single-wide circuit-pack version that can be used in 819A-type T1 repeater housings as well as existing ADTRAN mid-span repeater housings. Receiver sensitivity has been increased from 34dB to 45dB on each side of the repeater for a maximum circuit deployment capability of 90 dB cable loss. The LR 56/72 III is equipped with an LED that indicates the presence of appropriate line power, reversed central office pairs, and repeater loopback test to aid in the installation of the unit.
