Schneider, ADTRAN CTO, will chair the Telecom Engineering Conference (TEC) at the United States Telecom Association's Telecom '03 (USTA) beginning October 11 in Las Vegas. USTA has gathered an impressive array of pioneers in video over DSL and other industry experts to provide comprehensive coverage of the engineering aspects of delivering this service.

"By utilizing the 'Standards' Triple Play,' the serving range of these types of services can be extended, allowing LECs to effectively utilize their existing copper loop plant."

ADTRAN is actively participating in efforts to create an open standard for multipair bonded, subscriber loops.
