products. Used to extend ISDN without costly repeaters, Total Reach ISDN second generation products accommodate several new form factors.

ADTRAN's second generation Total Reach ISDN Central Office units are available in industry standard T400 and D4 form factors as well as ADTRAN's popular BR1/10 form factor. The remote units are available in environmentally hardened housings from Siecor, KepTel, and TII.

The second generation Total Reach ISDN products operate at lower span powering voltages and continue to meet the Bellcore GR1089-CORE Class A2 power rating. While consuming less power, these products provide the same exceptional performance as the first generation product line.

Total Reach ISDN uses ADTRAN's Simple Coded-Pulse Amplitude Modulation (SC-PAM SC-PAM Simple Coded - Pulse Amplitude Modulation (also abbreviated SCPAM) ) technology to deliver basic-rate ISDN service up to 30,500 feet from a central office using just a single twisted pair cable. SC-PAM is spectrally compatible and can share a binder group with existing services, such as DDS (1) (Digital Data Storage) See DAT.
