ADTRAN, INC. FILES REGISTRATION STATEMENT.

HUNTSVILLE, Ala.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 1, 1995--ADTRAN, Inc. (NMS:ADTN), a Huntsville, Alabama based manufacturer of digital transmission products, announced that it has filed a Registration Statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission in connection with a public offering of 3,000,000 shares of common stock. Of the 3,000,000 shares proposed to be offered, 2,500,000 shares are being offered by selling stockholders.

The Company designs, develops, manufactures, markets and services a broad range of high speed digital transmission products utilized by telephone companies and corporate end-users to implement advanced digital data services over existing telephone networks. The Company also customizes many of its products for private label distribution and for original equipment manufacturers to incorporate into their own products.

A registration statement relating to the common stock has been filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission but has not yet become effective. The common stock being registered may not be sold nor may offers to buy be accepted prior to the time the registration statement becomes effective.
