Driven by heightened customer demand for metals services, ADS

Logistics commences warehousing and expands its transportation

services to the Greater Atlanta area.

ADS Logistics, (ADS) a national provider of integrated logistics services to the metals industry, announced today that it has commenced providing metals warehousing and expanded its transportation services in the greater Atlanta, GA area.

Demand for metals logistics services in the southeast has increased significantly over the last ten years. Driven by this heightened customer demand, ADS expanded its integrated logistics services by co-locating the ADS/Roll & Hold division warehousing services with the ADS/Area Transportation division trucking services in a facility located in Pendergrass, GA, just northeast of Atlanta. ADS/ Area Transportation division has provided truck transportation services in this area for several years.

The 180,000 square foot facility is owned by Shiloh Industries' Jefferson Blanking division and produces laser-welded blanks for the automotive industry The automotive industry is the industry involved in the design, development, manufacture, marketing, and sale of motor vehicles. In 2006, more than 69 million motor vehicles, including cars and commercial vehicles were produced worldwide. . ADS/ Roll & Hold division is providing warehousing services for coils, blanks, and other metals products in a portion of this Jefferson Blanking facility.

The facility is rail served, providing added cost reduction opportunities to customers shipping larger coil sizes, longer distances via rail as opposed to over-the-road trucking. Rail service is provided by the CSX CSX Chessie Seaboard Multiplier (railroad transportation company)
