ADS Associes Sets Up Composite Material Development Centre.

QUEBEC, Quebec--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 5, 1996--ADS ASSOCIES LTEE(ME: AAL ) ADS associes ltee is pleased to announce that its subsidiary Beauce Composites Inc. completed acquisition of the Centre d'Etude des Materiaux Plastiques Belanger Ltee on March 1, 1996. With this transaction, Beauce Composites Inc. secured the services of Germain Belanger as a consultant in composite materials for its current customers as well as the support of a technical team with broad experience in developing new markets and processes.

The transaction will result in investments of more than $500,000 in robotics and laboratory equipment by the Group. Operations will be headed up renowned composite materials expert Germain Belanger and will get underway by springtime. Five to eight people will be employed at first, all specialists in composite materials (engineers, chemists, technicians, etc.).

The Centre's mission will be totally focused on customer support, staff training and the analysis and development of new materials and processes to increase the Group's industrial market penetration.
