ADPAC Promotes Ed Severs to Serve as President; Severs Will Lead Ongoing Strategy to Increase Market Share and Product Offerings.


SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 23, 1999--

 Corporation, a leading supplier of legacy system software, today announced the promotion of Ed Severs, formerly Chief Operating Officer Chief Operating Officer (COO)

The officer of a firm responsible for day-to-day management, usually the president or an executive vice-president.
 (COO), to the office of President. Severs will continue to report directly to ADPAC's Board of Directors.

An industry veteran with more than 30 years experience in the high-technology sector, Severs joined the company in 1996 as Executive Vice President. He was promoted to COO last July, when he was also elected to the Board of Directors. As COO, Severs was responsible for R&D, quality assurance, finance, marketing and sales programs, administration and technical services. As Executive Vice President, Severs was instrumental in increasing both the revenue and employee base by 50 percent in 1997 alone. Prior to ADPAC, Severs served as President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Severs has already played a major role in meeting ADPAC's growth objectives by leading the company into a development agreement with SAP. As President, Severs is chartered with capitalizing on ADPAC's customer gain as a Y2K See Y2K problem and Y2K compliant.
