Robert J. Casale, group president of ADP Financial Information Services Inc. said, "Our acquisition of Wilco is a critical factor in our strategic expansion in both the international and domestic marketplaces. We have worked very closely with Wilco over the last 16 months with many successes and believe that the progression to a single organization is not only the logical next step but the most beneficial for the strategic growth of both organizations."

The acquisition of Wilco International provides ADP with the opportunity to expand its global presence in the securities processing marketplace with an established, state-of-the-art client server-based system.

ADP's current system, Brokerage Plus, which is available on a service bureau basis, is a real-time securities transaction processing platform that provides a vast array of services to over 100 U.S.-based securities operations organizations. Brokerage Plus also provides interfaces to U.S. clearing agencies and provides regulatory reporting as required by U.S. securities laws.

An automated link between GLOSS and Brokerage Plus has already been established and is operational in a major bank. This interface provides the bank with a seamless integration of the bank's international and domestic securities transactions, enabling the bank to create consolidated accounting records and regulatory reports required by U.S. securities laws.

According to Roy Staines president of Wilco's U.S. operations, "the two organizations have also begun the development necessary to offer GLOSS's international product set as an integrated part of ADP's service bureau environment. Additionally, we are developing a fully functional institutional system to handle both domestic and international securities transactions."
