The ADP Certified Professional Program has been designed to help ensure that clients' payroll administrators possess the professional knowledge and practical experience to perform critical tasks. By becoming an ADP Certified Payroll Specialist (ADP CPS), payroll professionals validate their expertise and enhance their credibility. At the same time, employers gain greater peace of mind that their mission-critical functions, such as payroll administration, are being handled by capable and well-trained professionals.

The program has been launched with two key ADP payroll products: ADP PC/Payroll and Pay eXpert(R). As the program grows, additional product certifications will follow. The ADP Certified Professional Program is a voluntary program open to anyone seeking ADP product certification. ADP is also offering candidates online "refresher" courses to help prepare for the certification examination.

ADP has been working with Pearson VUE, the global leader in electronic testing, to develop and deliver the certification exams. Through this partnership, Pearson VUE will administer the tests through its network of more than 200 Pearson Professional Centers in the United States and its territories.
