ADP Claims Solutions Group Receives Patent for ``Drill-Down'' and CATview Features on PenPro Estimating System.

SAN RAMON, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 19, 1999--ADP Claims Solutions Group (CSG), a leading provider of information services for property and casualty insurance claims management, Tuesday announced that the company received a patent from the U.S. Patent Office for the "method and apparatus for displaying and selecting vehicle parts."

The patented invention is used in the ADP PenPro(tm) mobile estimating system for vehicle claims estimating.

PenPro features that use the invention covered by the patent include PenPro's "drill-down" feature, which enables users to select a specific vehicle part and display a visual image of all its underlying parts.

The CATview(tm) feature enables users to quickly display the entire top surface of the vehicle for fast selection of parts to replace vehicle sections damaged by a hailstorm or other catastrophic events.

According to John Barfitt, president of ADP CSG, the company was awarded U.S. Patent No. 5,839,112.
