ADP Brokerage Services Highlights Significant New Services and Acquisitions at SIA Operations Conference and Exhibit.

ADP Brokerage Services Group (ADP), a division of Automatic Data Processing, Inc. (NYSE: ADP), announced today that it will highlight several new product offerings, as well as new client business and strategic acquisitions, at the SIA Operations Conference and Exhibit which will be held at the Marriott Orlando World Center in Orlando, Florida from April 25-28, 2001. ADP will show how its unsurpassed depth and breadth of products and services support the straight through processing strategy of banks and brokerages of all sizes and types. And, it will demonstrate how ADP's solutions automate client processes from new account opening to trade processing all the way through to statements and proxy delivery.

Enhanced Product Offerings

-- New Accounts Processing was enhanced last year to be browser-based. This
solution surged in popularity during 2000 with over 4 million documents
processed. From the point that a client first interacts with a firm,
applications and forms are scanned and the new accounts process becomes a fully
automated electronic workflow. Document duplication and handling by multiple
points of contact are eliminated in this electronic process, significantly
reducing the cost of the entire workflow. Clients benefit from effortless
tracking, convenient image retrieval from any Internet-connected desktop, and
the opportunity to refocus their human resources on activities that help grow
their business.

-- PostEdge(SM) is an electronic delivery system for confirmations, statements,
1099s, proxy notices and many other investor documents. PostEdge provides firms
with the ability to direct distribution by an individual investor's preference

- standard mail, electronic delivery, or both. PostEdge was

enhanced in 2000 to include a more robust document archival

feature. Archived documents are unalterable, available in

several formats, and can be quickly accessed. The speed and

convenience of this new feature combined with the cost savings

created by eliminating postal fees made PostEdge ever more

popular in 2000 with more than 1.2 billion images

electronically stored.

-- Web-enabled impact(TM) was recently announced by ICI/ADP,

highlighting the availability of the premier impact product in

a new browser-based graphical user interface. impact was

developed using JAVA and XML programming, and has a scaleable,

extensible web-based front-end that leverages the strength and

stability of the existing impact fixed-income middle and

back-office trade processing and financing system. The new

front-end offers a graphical-based look and feel with improved

functionality and ease-of-use, reduced user training

requirements, a scaleable yet stable systems architecture, and

a cost-effective web-based solution for impact clients.

-- Web-enabled POSSE(SM) is ADP/SIS's unique productivity

oriented desktop solution. Financial services professionals

use POSSE to access a variety of sales, investment management,

and back-office applications through one easy-to-use menu.

This web-enabled solution greatly reduces the program

installation, management overhead, and upgrade processes for

the operations professional. Users of POSSE simply go to the

Web for complete access to portfolio, account inquiry, and

order entry information, commission and bond calculators, and

much more.

-- The Funds Processing Service Bureau was recently expanded

allowing Hedge Funds, Fund of Funds, and other Alternative

Asset Managers to outsource their entire back-office

operations and accounting functions, significantly reducing

the cost to process these transactions. The services provided

include broker reconciliation, portfolio valuation, daily and

monthly NAV calculations, reporting and much more.

Strategic Acquisitions

ADP's Wilco International business has recently acquired two firms to enhance its strategic initiatives.

-- TCA Synergo -An agreement has been signed with the Terence

Chapman Group PLC (LSE: TCG) for the acquisition of TCA

Synergo. The agreement, signed on April 6, 2001, includes the

assets and business of TCA Synergo, including the TAROT2000

e-broking and private client investment management system.

TAROT2000 is a leading solution for retail trade processing in

the UK, handling a significant number of trades executed in

the market. Some of the UK's most successful brokerage firms

use the TAROT2000 system. This is the latest development in

ADP's strategy for the international retail markets and it

extends the functional coverage of ADP's strategic platform,

the Global Processing Solution.

-- SUMMIT- An agreement has been signed with Computershare

Technology Services Pty Ltd., the Australian technology

subsidiary of Computershare Ltd. (ASX: CPU), for the

acquisition of the SUMMIT broker/client accounting system. The

SUMMIT system provides support for both institutional and

retail brokers for trading operations in domestic Australian

equities. Functionality provided includes straight through

processing for trading, settlement and trade confirmation. The

system can be used on an on-site implementation or outsourced

service bureau basis. This acquisition provides ADP with a

first rate Australian domestic processing solution, a pool of

talented people with experience in the Australian market and a

prestigious new client base.

Recent Client Signings

-- First Southwest, based in Dallas, Texas, is now using ADP's

PostEdge platform and its full suite of printing, mailing and

electronic delivery of investor confirmation services. First

Southwest will be using ADP to print and deliver customized

customer trade confirmations, and will also use its PostEdge

product to provide the electronic delivery of customer

confirmations to their own account representatives and the

account representatives of their correspondent firms. By using

ADP to provide electronic delivery throughout their

organization and to their correspondent firms, First Southwest

will be benefiting from the real strength of ADP's depth and

breadth as an organization - the ability to provide

customized, end-to-end processing and information delivery

solutions for financial institutions of any size or
