ADP Acquires the Argus Group.

ADP Investor Communication Services (ADP ICS), a division of Automatic Data Processing (NYSE: ADP), announced today the acquisition of the Argus Group. The acquisition formalizes the relationship and synergy developed between the organizations after a sales and marketing agreement was established last year.

Baltimore-based Argus Group is a national provider of on-demand communications for the financial services and health care industries. The Argus Group unifies documents in an Internet-based, intelligent content management system allowing clients to view, modify, and select the material from electronic libraries for on-demand printing and fulfillment. After receiving these selections, the Argus Group electronically customizes and personalizes the communications. Many of the largest 401(k) providers rely on Argus to provide their clients with customized literature.
