ADP's ezLaborManager Solution Offers a Flexible, Easy-to-Use Approach to Labor Cost Control.

ROSELAND, N.J. -- Integrated Web-Based Solution Helps Manage Employee Time and Attendance to Improve Productivity

With the latest release, ADP's ezLaborManager can now be integrated with ADP's Internet payroll processing solution Pay eXpert(R) to form a complete Web-based "punch-in to paycheck" solution. This allows them to focus more time on strategic business needs. ezLaborManager's real-time data Real-time data denotes information that is delivered immediately after collection. "With ezLaborManager, it now takes me 20 minutes to run the hourly employees' report, track their overtime and add up their hours. It's all tracked and it's all real-time, which is great," states Joanna Brown, VP of HR of Greater Acceptance Mortgage Corp, a nationwide lender located in California.

ezLaborManager provides companies with accurate, real-time information to help them make more informed business decisions. This gives clients the ability to project and reconcile payroll, allowing them to pay employees for the current week based on projected hours worked. Payroll adjustments based on actual hours worked are automatically calculated following the pay period, and can be accepted or rejected online by employers. This further accelerates payroll processing and payroll delivery.

ADP's ezLaborManager's design provides employers with a choice of methods for recording employee work hours. Employers can use electronic timeclocks or a Web-based employee timesheet to capture this data. As employee hours are collected, ezLaborManager can be set to apply company policies, such as the pay rate for hours collected above or below a specified level. As a result, employee hours are totaled with increased accuracy and delivered for payroll processing with the company payroll rules applied, while redundant data entry is eliminated.

ADP's ezLaborManager was originally introduced after development through a partnership with eLabor, Inc. ADP acquired eLabor, Inc. and full ownership of the ezLaborManager solution in February 2003. More than 3,800 clients use ADP's ezLaborManager software today.

"Employers are consistently at risk of losing money as a result of inaccurate time reporting, either intentionally or unintentionally," added Thomas. "ADP's ezLaborManager offers small to mid-size companies the opportunity to implement a company-wide, automated solution to track employee time and attendance that helps reduce those risks. ADP assumes responsibility for managing the system so employers can focus resources on more strategic initiatives."
