These ratings were based upon the publication's annual Defined Contribution (DC) Survey, which measures plan sponsors' satisfaction with their providers' participant and sponsor services. ADP Retirement Services was awarded its 16 'Best in Class' honors in two market classifications. Nine of these awards came in the market classification that included defined contribution plans with assets of $5MM to $49MM, and seven were received in the market classification that included plans with assets under $5MM. Survey ratings were determined by PLANSPONSOR magazine based on questionnaires completed by DC plan sponsors. Client satisfaction results were segmented for each provider based on four separate market classifications: less than $5 million in DC assets; $5 million-$49 million; $50 million-$199 million; and, more than $200 million. 'Best in Class' awards were given to those providers with top quartile scores in each service category within each asset size. Respondent comments were also taken into consideration when determining status.
