Earnings for the fourth quarter ended Oct. 31 were $1.5 million, or 18 cents per share, on 80 percent revenue growth to $19.4 million. Annual sales grew 86 percent over fiscal 1995. "ADIC sales continued to show outstanding growth during the fourth quarter with an increase of 28 percent over the third quarter and a 60 percent increase in net income compared to that quarter," said Chief Executive Officer Peter van Oppen. ADIC has averaged over 97 percent compounded annual revenue growth over its last 10 quarterly periods. The technology was later sold to Quantum, which makes it available to other manufacturers. DLT uses half-inch, single-hub cartridges similar to IBM's 3480/3490/3590 line. tape storage products, including excellent interest in the Scalar scalar, quantity or number possessing only sign and magnitude, e.g., the real numbers (see number), in contrast to vectors and tensors; scalars obey the rules of elementary algebra.
