Advanced Digital Information Corporation (Nasdaq:ADIC) announced today that it has joined with other leading storage suppliers in a new alliance designed to provide more effective cooperative technical support for IT departments using open system storage networks.

Formed under the auspices of the Storage Networking Industry Association (SNIA) and the Technical Support Alliance Network (TSANet), the new SNIA Supported Solutions Forum (SSF) provides a process for coordinating rapid response technical support for multi-vendor storage networks that use interoperable products from member companies. The organization certifies multi-vendor solutions as interoperable, and it provides a mechanism for technical support professionals from all of the participating companies to take rapid, coordinated action to support joint customers. The program includes 7x24 support and extends to sites around the world.
