The larger capacity Pathlight VX 650, which now provides up to 71.5TB of usable storage, will allow enterprise IT departments to backup and retain more of their data on a single disk backup resource to facilitate rapid file restores. The expanded library support also allows end users to build integrated disk-tape backup environments that leverage the highly scalable architecture of ADIC's new midrange, rack-mountable Scalar i500 tape library platform.
