The Pronghorn platform includes an Intel(R) IXP425 network processor, 802.11a/b/g capability via Mini PCI card, configurable flash and SDRAM (Synchronous DRAM) A type of dynamic RAM (DRAM) memory chip that has been widely used since the late 1990s.
