Dental hygienists across the United States now have more convenient access to continuing education credits to maintain their professional standing. With ADHA's recent launch of the ADHA DVD Quarterly, hygienists are receiving high-quality and affordable CE in an easy-to-view Digital Video Disk (DVD) format delivered to their door. "Dental hygienists are reporting that they appreciate being able to obtain credits at home and at a time convenient to their busy schedules", noted Ray Homer, president of CME Network Inc. and ADHA DVD Quarterly publisher. Each annual subscription costs just $99 for ADHA members and qualifies the hygienist for 12 CE credit hours. Four DVD program disks each year are delivered to subscribers. Q&A tests are completed either online or by mail, with a certificate of participation awarded for each disk of programming. The ADHA DVD Quarterly's clinical interactive programs are presented by experts, usually filmed in the operatory. Upcoming topics include treatment planning, periodontics, laser techniques, ergonomic tips and oral systemic links.
