ADFlex Solutions wins multi-million dollar production contract from Dell Computer Corp.


CHANDLER, Ariz.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--ADFlex Solutions Inc. (NASDAQ/NM:AFLX) Wednesday announced that it has begun volume shipments of flexible circuit-based interconnects for Dell Computer Corp.'s (NASDAQ/NM:DELL) new Platinum notebook computer A laptop computer that weighs in a range from five to seven pounds. The term originated when laptops were routinely more than 10 pounds, and those that became lighter were placed in a special "notebook" category. In practice, notebook computer and laptop computer are synonymous. .

ADFlex estimates that the open-ended supply arrangement, which is linked to production of the computer, will result in multi-million dollar revenues over the next 18 months. Dell's Platinum notebook is a Pentium-based, full-size notebook computer and is the latest of Dell's notebook offerings.
