ADFlex Solutions completes acquisition of new production facility; move will double existing capacity.


CHANDLER, Ariz.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 12, 1995--ADFlex Solutions Inc. (NASDAQ/NM:AFLX) Tuesday announced that it has completed its acquisition of a 160,000-square-foot manufacturing facility located near its existing plants in Agua Prieta Agua Prieta is a town and municipality in the northeastern corner of the Mexican state of Sonora (). It stands on the U.S.-Mexico border, adjacent to the town of Douglas, Arizona, USA. The municipality covers an area of 3,631.65 km² (1,402. , Mexico.

ADFlex, which had occupied approximately 25 percent of the facility after signing a letter of intent in April of this year, is already shipping volume quantities of flex-based interconnects designed for notebook computers A laptop computer that weighs in a range from five to seven pounds.
