ADFlex Solutions Inc. selected to produce Motorola cell phone circuits.


CHANDLER, Ariz.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 25, 1996--ADFlex Solutions Inc. (Nasdaq NM:AFLX) Monday announced that it has been selected by Motorola (NYSE:MOT), the world's leading manufacturer of cellular telephones, to supply flexible circuit A pattern of conductors created on a bendable film, which acts as an insulating (dielectric) base material. The top is coated with a dielectric cover layer. A flexible circuit is a pliable counterpart to a rigid printed circuit board. Flexible circuits, or "flex circuits," are often required to enable a more rapid construction of a device rather than their ability to turn and twist in normal operation.-based interconnects that will be used to interconnect battery charging control components with the phone's battery cell.

Commenting on this program, ADFlex Chairman and CEO Rolando C. Esteverena said, "We're very pleased to have received this significant production commitment. ADFlex has long been recognized for its ability to produce a reliable, high-quality product in the vast quantities required by major manufacturers. We believe that these qualities were instrumental in Motorola's decision to award ADFlex with a significant share of its flex requirements for these cell phone applications.
