Expert Framework Leverages Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0 to Automate Business Processes, Improve User Experiences, and Enhance Integration

MIAMI -- ADERANT, a global provider of business and financial management software for professional services organizations, today announced the introduction of Expert Framework, a new technology architecture for the company's leading business management solution suite, ADERANT Expert. Expert Framework leverages newly available Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0 technologies to provide ADERANT with a way to develop visually rich, highly customizable, easily integrated, and workflow-enabled business applications and services.

To ensure the new technology foundation for ADERANT Expert meets the needs of law firms and other professional services organizations, ADERANT has created a special technology adoption program for Expert Framework. ADERANT is working closely with a select group of clients and partners and is using their feedback to shape the development of Expert Framework.

Leveraging Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0

ADERANT has worked closely with Microsoft over the past two years to incorporate Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0 technologies into Expert Framework. ADERANT's active participation in several Microsoft Technology Adoption Programs has given the company a deep understanding of these new tools.

Expert Framework will make extensive use of the new capabilities and technologies Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0 introduced, including Windows Workflow Foundation, Windows Presentation Foundation, and Windows Communication Foundation.

* Windows Workflow Foundation Windows Workflow Foundation (WF) is a programming model, engine, and tools for quickly building workflow-enabled applications. By incorporating WF in Expert Framework clients will be able to easily embed workflows within any ADERANT Expert application.

* Windows Presentation Foundation Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) enables richer control, design, and development of the visual aspects of Windows applications. Expert Framework will take advantage of WPF to deliver a highly customizable ADERANT Expert user interface that can be seamlessly deployed across multiple environments, including Microsoft Windows desktops, browsers, mobile devices, and more.

* Windows Communication Foundation Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) is a new communications infrastructure for building and running connected systems that provides secure, reliable, and transacted messaging along with interoperability. Expert Framework will take advantage of WCF to more easily integrate ADERANT Expert with other applications.

The first generation of ADERANT Expert applications that leverage the capabilities of Expert Framework will be generally available in Q4 2007 and will focus on workflow.
