ADELINES' CHORUS CHANGING DIRECTORS.Byline: Sandra Terrell Staff Writer After 28 years of directing the Channelaire Chorus of Sweet Adelines International Sweet Adelines International is a worldwide organization of women singers committed to advancing the musical art form of barbershop harmony through education and performances. , Judy Ashmore is retiring and passing the baton. The new front-line director will be Bobbette Gantz, a former chorus member who has acted as associate director and musical coach for five years. Gantz, a member of Sweet Adelines International for 30 years, is a consultant to the Region 11 Music Faculty and has served as director of musical activities for the region's 22 choruses.
