 winner Jeff Sluman Jeffrey George "Jeff" Sluman (born September 11, 1957) is an American professional golfer who has won numerous professional golf tournaments including six PGA Tour victories.

Sluman was born in Rochester, New York. He attended Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida.
. Paychex President and Chief Executive Officer Jonathan J. Judge announced the agreement today at the Bay Hill Invitational in Orlando, Florida The city of Orlando is a major city in central Florida and is the county seat of Orange County, Florida. According to the 2000 census, the city population was 185,951. A 2006 U.S. , during a ceremony recognizing the 20th anniversary of the partnership between Paychex and Sluman. Arnold Palmer, golf legend and principal owner of the Bay Hill Club, joined Judge, Sluman, and Scott Wellington, Bay Hill Invitational tournament director, for the ceremony.

Sluman, a Rochester native who makes his home in Chicago, has been representing Paychex since 1986, when the company first entered into an agreement with Sluman to be his sole hat sponsor. The partnership is one of the longest-running corporate sponsorships on the PGA Tour The PGA Tour is an organization that operates the USA's main professional golf tours. It is headquartered in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, USA. Its name is officially rendered in all caps as “PGA TOUR".  today.

"We've enjoyed a fantastic 20-year relationship with Jeff. He's a terrific golfer and an even better person," said Judge. "Our relationship with Jeff is truly one of a kind; Paychex has no other corporate sponsorships. It's a real source of pride for Paychex employees, shareholders, and clients to see Jeff wear the hat with our company name. As long as he's playing golf, we want to be associated with him."

Under terms of the lifetime sponsorship agreement, Paychex will be Sluman's sole hat sponsor as long as he chooses to play on the PGA Tour and/or the Champions Tour.

"It's been a wonderful relationship for me," Sluman said. "Things have been going very well for me since I started wearing the Paychex logo in 1986. I'm looking forward to continuing this partnership well into the future."

Sluman has played in the Bay Hill Invitational 16 times. The first year he played was 1986, the same year he entered into the sponsorship agreement with Paychex.

During his professional career, Jeff has won six PGA tournaments, including the 1988 PGA Championship, and is known as one of the most consistent players on Tour. He played 29 tournaments in 2005, earning money in 21 events. He cracked the $1 million mark for the fifth straight season and seventh in the past eight years. Jeff had three top-10 and six top-25 finishes for the season. His best event in 2005 was The Memorial Tournament, in which he tied for third place. Earlier in the year, he tied for ninth at the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am, and later, he had a solo fourth at the U.S. Bank Championship in Milwaukee The U.S. Bank Championship in Milwaukee is a regular golf tournament on the PGA Tour. It is played annually in July in the Milwaukee suburb of Brown Deer, Wisconsin. The tournament is held at the Brown Deer Park Golf Course. U.S. Bancorp is the main sponsor of the tournament. , which was his 100th career top-10 finish. Sluman capped the 2005 season with a second invitation from Jack Nicklaus to serve as his Captain's Assistant for the winning U.S. Presidents Cup team.
