LOS ANGELES -- The LA Sports & Entertainment Commission (LASEC) presents its 7th annual NFL 101/201- Get Ready for Some Football: An Intimate Evening with NFL Legends on Monday, July 13, 2009, from 5:00 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. This is an officially sanctioned NFL event where guests can experience a once-in-a-lifetime evening, playing on the field at one of the most historic sites in football history, the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum For board track racing circuit, see .

This year's NFL 101/201 will include a wide array of activities in the "Play like a Pro" experience on the field. "Play like a Pro" features a quarterback passing competition, an opportunity to catch passes from an NFL quarterback, a field goal kicking challenge, an NFL equipment demonstration, and locker room tours that include official uniform displays for all 32 NFL teams.

    Our community partners for NFL 101/201 are Mattel Children's Hospital and Special Olympics and some of their athletes will be participating in our "Play Like a Pro" competition on the field. The event, which includes a cocktail reception and a buffet dinner, will conclude with our panel discussion. For the first time, the panel will focus on the art of quarterbacking with our four legendary quarterbacks.

Several levels of participation are available starting at $5,000 for a table of 10. Additionally, individual tickets are available for $500 each.
