ADDING MULTIMEDIA ``FC Fox,'' The Next Generation of Fox Soccer Channel's Popular Weekly Youth Soccer Show, to Debut Friday, April 21 at 7:30 PM (ET).

LOS ANGELES -- Ethan Zohn Joins as Host; Teams with Heather Mitts, Christopher Sullivan and Ryan McDonough to Cover Youth and Amateur Soccer in the U.S.

In keeping with its mission to bring U.S. soccer fans the most in-depth coverage possible of their game at all levels of participation, Fox Soccer Channel today announced it has revamped the weekly original youth and amateur soccer series, "Fox Soccer USA," to reach an even greater share of the coveted teen and young adult audience. Echoing the energy and team spirit that characterizes the fast-growing youth soccer movement across the country, while borrowing a page from one of the game's oldest naming traditions, the new show will debut under the name "FC Fox" on Friday, April 21 at 7:30 p.m. ET / 4:30 p.m. PT.

"FC Fox" is being produced by Brighton Entertainment in collaboration with Fox Soccer Channel.

Supported by the findings from extensive consumer research conducted by Fox Soccer Channel in late 2005 and early 2006, the decision to reformat the show underscores the network's viewer-centric approach and the tremendous value it places on audience feedback. As a result, the new "FC Fox" will be better positioned to become American youth and amateur soccer devotees' go-to source for everything they need to know about their favorite game.

Hosted by Ethan Zohn, who came to national prominence as the winner of "Survivor: Africa" and is also the co-founder of Grassroot Soccer, "FC Fox" continues the tradition of strong storytelling that was the calling card for "Fox Soccer USA." Each week's episode will be anchored by two special interest features, offering viewers an in-depth and behind-the-scenes look into their favorite soccer stars and role models, as well as real-life stories about college, high-school and youth-league athletes, coaches and teams.

"FC Fox" will also engage young players with expert tips on technique and play-making from U.S. Women's National Team standout and "Fox Soccer USA" audience favorite Heather Mitts. Christopher Sullivan, formerly of the U.S. Men's National Team, will lend his expertise on training and conditioning, while Ryan McDonough brings his 'man-on-the-street' take on the soccer world. Also new to the show is a youth player of the week segment, a humorous sideline report and a roundup of high school soccer action from across the nation.

Broadening the horizons of its predecessor, the new "FC Fox" will also expand internationally with an upcoming episode directly from Costa Rica, dedicated to coverage of the Costa Rica Cup, and another from England which will spotlight American youths attending the Manchester United Kids Camp.

Ethan Zohn comes to the show with noteworthy credentials both on and off the field, making him a natural choice to host "FC Fox." After winning "Survivor: Africa" in 2002, he founded "Grassroot Soccer," a non-profit organization which trains Africa's professional soccer players to teach children about HIV/AIDS prevention. Always keeping one foot on the pitch, Ethan has also served as the coach of the U.S. National Maccabiah Team at the Pan American Maccabi Games in Chile and is currently hosting the Metro Soccer Report for the MSG Networks.

Originally from Lexington, Massachusetts, Ethan attended Vassar College, graduating in 1996 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in biology. He eventually became a professional soccer player, starring as a goalie for the Highlanders Football Club (Zimbabwe), Cape Cod Crusaders (Cape Cod, Massachusetts) and the Hawaii Tsunami (Oahu, Hawaii). Ethan also played for the 1997 and 2001 U.S. National Maccabiah Team (Israel). In addition, he was the assistant coach for the Fairleigh Dickinson University men's and women's teams in Teaneck, New Jersey from 1998 to 2002.

In addition to having co-produced the original "Fox Soccer USA," New York-based Brighton has previously teamed with Fox Soccer Channel to produce live soccer events such as the Champions World Series, the popular U.S. summer tours in 2003-2004 that featured Manchester United, AC Milan, Chelsea and other top European clubs.
