ADC (Nasdaq:ADCT; www.adc.com) and The Management Network Group (Nasdaq:TMNG; www.tmng.com) announced today they are demonstrating on-demand revenue management for wireless public access networks at CTIA. The demonstration will be unveiled at the Wireless Technology Lab booth (#3611) at CTIA in New Orleans, March 17 - 19, 2003.

Using ADC's Singl.eView(TM) dynamic transaction management platform integrated with the wireless infrastructure, ADC is performing real-time service creation and policy-based charging from authentication, authorization and accounting (AAA) and MXP records for multiple wireless services such as WiFi 802.11x (both home and roaming) and 1xRTT. Coupled with ADC's Singl.eView Convergent Billing platform, ADC is providing on-demand convergent billing for multiple wireless technologies, and creating invoices based on the service as delivered (i.e. bandwidth/volume, duration and per connection).

"Regardless of what technologies are being used to deliver services, the fundamental business issue is whether the revenues for service delivery can be captured and managed in both real-time and on-demand," said Ron Angner, wireless practice leader for TMNG. "On the invoicing side, the wireless technology should be completely transparent to the user; likewise the ability to rate and bill should be completely technology independent for the service operator. This demonstration illustrates just that - all public access network services can be delivered, managed and reconciled on a single platform, with invoices generated on-demand."

The demonstration is being conducted in conjunction with TMNG, inCode Telecom Group and Fluor. These companies, along with ADC, are participants in the Wireless Technology Lab (WTL), an independent wireless technology lab in La Jolla, California. During CTIA, the WTL participants will show the interoperability of various wireless services on a single architecture. The ability to manage revenues from various services in real-time is a critical component of this demonstration.
