Joseph Atsmon, president of ADC Teledata, "We are very pleased to receive this major award from Turk Telekom. The contract was won within the scope of an international tender, which makes it even more significant, and a true validation of the BroadAccess system. Among the key factors that enabled us to secure this business were excellent pricing, outstanding technical performance and reliability -- we successfully installed and tested our DCS-20F with Turk Telekom in a field environment for nearly a year."

"With the deployment of the BroadAccess digital loop carrier system, Turk Telekom is well positioned to meet growing demand for voice and data services in Turkey" said William J. Both a strong technology portfolio and global support network enable ADC Teledata to bring this cost-effective solution to Turk Telekom."

The BroadAccess DLC cost effectively supports any service from POTS to data, with a clear migration path to xDSL. BroadAccess can be managed by either a local element manager or by ADC Teledata's element manager. The system is available in both ETSI (European Telecommunications Standards Institute, Sophia Antipolis technical park, Nice, France, www.etsi.org) A non-profit membership organization founded in 1988, dedicated to standardizing information and communication technologies (ICT) throughout Europe.  and ANSI (American National Standards Institute, New York, www.ansi.org) A membership organization founded in 1918 that coordinates the development of U.S. voluntary national standards in both the private and public sectors.
