With successful field trials complete, Soneplex/HiGain HDSL4 has already been deployed in North American carrier networks. ADC will show HDSL4 at its booth (No. 12207) at SUPERCOMM in Atlanta, June 4-6, 2002.

"The extended reach of HDSL4 enables ADC customers to service more subscribers with less equipment," said Greg Daily, vice president and general manager for Loop Transport Products in ADC's Wireline Business Unit. "This provides a significant cost savings and greater network reliability, in addition to the increased performance and spectral compatibility inherent to HDSL4."

With two repeaters Soneplex/HiGain HDSL4 enables service providers to deliver T1 services up to 46,000 feet (24AWG), while maintaining spectrum compatibility, more than triple the current reach of HDSL2. Soneplex/HiGain HDSL4 products include line units, repeaters and enclosures and comes in all popular form factors, including WECO 220, C.I.
