Infonetics Research projects a 53% quarterly compound growth rate for G.shdsl-based CPE through 2004(a), so ADC's MM701G addresses a rapidly growing market opportunity. The MM701G uses standards-based G.shdsl technology to offer superior rate, reach and compatibility, combined with advanced bridging and internetwork routing capabilities. When used with ADC's Avidia Digital Subscriber Line Access Multiplexer (DSLAM) System, or other G.shdsl compliant DSLAM, the MM701G creates new market opportunities for service providers by expanding current carrier service areas (CSA) by up to 47 percent, compared to existing DSL solutions. This enables service providers to reach more customers with a greater variety of revenue-generating services based on DSL.
