ADC Names Nii Quaye Vice President and General Manager for China.

:ADCT ADCT Adaptive Discrete Cosine Transform ) (www.adc.com), today announced that Nii Quaye has been promoted to serve the company as vice president and general manager of ADC's business in China. Quaye has served ADC since July 2000, most recently as director of operations, Structured Cable. He will relocate to ADC's office in Shanghai and assume his duties immediately.

In his new role, Quaye is responsible for refining ADC's strategy to aggressively grow awareness and revenue in China, and to effectively develop and implement plans to achieve this growth strategy. He will be focused primarily on business development, including the research and development of market and customer relationships, and new partnership initiatives. He is also responsible for ensuring alignment and focus of all ADC organizations within China to ensure ADC is well represented to the China marketplace, and to foster both operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Prior to joining ADC, Quaye served in several leadership roles for Cargill Inc.'s Strategy and Business Development Group and the Cargill Cocoa business unit. He has also held financial and marketing positions at Guidant/CRM.

Mr. Quaye holds a Masters of Business Administration degree from the University of Minnesota's Curtis L. Carlson School of Management The Carlson School of Management (CSOM) is the business school for undergraduates and graduates at the University of Minnesota.
