ADC Names James Mathews as Vice President and Controller.

:ADCT) (www.adc.com), today announced that James Mathews will join the company as vice president and controller. Mathews brings 27 years of finance experience to ADC, most recently serving as vice president and chief accounting officer at Northwest Airlines. He will assume his duties on December 1 and report to Gokul Hemmady, ADC's chief financial officer.

In his new role, Mathews will be responsible for ADC's global accounting organization including external financial reporting, financial consolidation, establishment and implementation of accounting policies and controls, and the development of financial systems.

"Jim brings to ADC a wealth of financial experience that will be instrumental as the company continues to grow its operations globally," said Hemmady. "Our accounting practices are obviously a critical component to our ongoing operations. Jim will add to the integrity and thoroughness of our accounting practices, ensuring ADC financial reporting and other financial procedures adhere to strict practices."

Prior to joining Northwest, Mathews served as chief financial and administrative officer at CARE-USA, the world's largest private relief and development agency. He has also held several positions at Delta Air Lines including service as Delta's corporate treasurer, controller and director of internal auditing. In addition he began his career at Continental General Life Insurance (now CIGNA CIGNA CG (Connecticut General Life Insurance Company) INA (Insurance Company of North America) ) as technical assistant to the corporate secretary's office.

Mr. Mathews holds a Masters of Science degree in finance from Georgia State University History
